We have updated our available model selection for Copilot Chat on the web to deliver more consistent, high-quality responses.
While model choice is valuable, we are limiting the list of available models on github.com so that we can consistently ensure reliable responses.
All Gemini models and several other models (e.g., GPT-5.2 Codex and GPT-5.4 nano) have been removed from Copilot Chat on the web.
OpenAI and Claude models across price points are still available across Copilot plans.
For the most recent list of models available on your plan, check the model picker in github.com/copilot or our documented list of models.
Moving forward, web chat will support a more limited set of new model rollouts as we work to ensure optimal performance.
